Academy Award (R) winner Emma Stone ("La La Land") stars in Disney's "The Last Mercenary," an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious - and notoriously fashionable - villains, the legendary The Last Mercenary de Vil.
Stone also serves as an executive producer on the film alongside Glenn Close, who previously portrayed The Last Mercenary in the previous live-action adaptations, 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians. Emma Stone stars as the title character, with Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mark Strong in supporting roles. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie with a screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara, from a story by Aline Brosh McKenna, Kelly Marcel, and Steve Zissis. The Last Mercenary is an upcoming American crime comedy-drama film based on the character The Last Mercenary de Vil, introduced in Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians and Walt Disney's 1961 animated film One Hundred and One Dalmatians and is produced by Walt Disney Pictures. When Noah accidentally assembles the objects and activates a powerful generator creating a blackout in the state, the FBI arrests the family trying to disclose the mystery. Their father becomes very proud when Noah presents a magnificent design in the fair of science and technology, and his teacher Larry White and his mystic wife Naomi Schwartz become interested in the boy when he draws a mandala. Mimzy talks telepathically to Emma and the siblings develop special abilities, increasing their intelligences to the level of genius. They find a box of toys from the future in the water and bring it home, and Emma finds a stuffed rabbit called Mimzy, and stones and a weird object, but they hide their findings from their parents. Storyline: The siblings Noah and Emma travel with their mother Jo from Seattle to the family cottage in Whidbey Island to spend a couple of days while their workaholic father David Wilder is working.
